Tommy Joubert, Marianne Orlowski, Benoît Finley, Jean-Luke Côté and Thiery Dubé will join Serge Postigo in the cast of the musical Les Producteurs, presented next March in Quebec.
Serge Postigo, in addition to playing the central character of Max Bialystock, a Broadway producer on the verge of bankruptcy, is directing and adapting this new version for Quebec of the musical that he already presented nearly 400 times in Paris.
Tommy Durand (Revolution, The Bodyguard), Jordan Donoghue (Rock of Ages, Hair), Kathline Gréco, Audrey Mainguy, Sarah Johnston, Alexandre Iannuzzi, Raiko Portuondo, Sophie Caron and Song Wang will also be part of the production.
The Producers is an adaptation of The Producers, a work itself adapted for the stage from the film by Mel Brooks and the most awarded Broadway musical.
The Quebec version will bring together 24 artists (including six musicians) at the Théâtre St-Denis in Montreal from March 28 to April 14, 2024 and at the Théâtre Capitole in Quebec from June 27 to July 14, 2024.
