The Canadian | Season over for Dvorak

(Sunrise) Christian Dvorak’s season is over.

The Canadian confirmed this news on Wednesday. The 27-year-old striker will be out of action this season as he underwent knee surgery on Wednesday.

The Canadian said the operation, performed in New York by specialist Robert Marx, was a success and a full recovery was expected. The veteran should therefore be in place when the next season opens.

Dvorak had not played since March 7, so had missed the team’s last four games.

In 64 games this season, he had 10 goals and 18 assists for a total of 28 points.
