The Canadiens agreed on Tuesday to terms on a one-year, $1.985 million contract extension with forward Sean Monahan.
The 28-year-old Monahan had six goals and 11 assists in 25 games with the Habs last season before suffering a season-ending lower-body injury on Dec. 5 in Vancouver.
