(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes have extended the contract of Quebec kicker David Côté until the end of the 2024 season.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound footballer has made 44 of his 51 field goals attempted in 2022. His 86.3% field goal percentage ranks him fourth in the CFL in field goal attempts. The 26-year-old kicker, only in his second professional season, led the Canadian Tour with 16 field goals for over 40 yards.
Côté also took on the kicking duties, averaging 62.4 yards on 70 kicks in 2022.
