According to investigators, there had been a knife attack in a neighboring accommodation home on Wednesday. One person was injured and a possible suspect has already been arrested. At the same time, however, the school shooting alarm was also triggered, whereupon the officers searched the school, a police spokesman said.
According to previous investigations, there was a tip about a suspicious person who was supposed to be in the secondary school. Emergency services then searched the building but found nothing dangerous. Heavily armed police officers, a helicopter and a drone were deployed on site.
The police took the suspected student into custody as a precaution. A knife was also seized during the search of the school building. It was said that the criminal police are now investigating whether there had been a threatening situation before and whether the knife belonged to the 14-year-old.
According to current knowledge, there is no connection between the two operations at school and the accommodation, said the police spokeswoman.
