The new edition of The Official First Names for the year 2023 has unveiled the list of nicknames that should be given the most to your children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces next year. As BFMTV reports, the authors of this publication, Stéphanie Rapoport and Claire Tabarly Perrin, note a decline in “a” endings, which appeared in the early 2000s.
“The short continues to be a major component of success. Never have we seen so many one-syllable or three- to four-letter names shine so brightly in the top twenty,” the two women also note.
