Thailand not to deport a young woman from Saudi-Arabia for the time being, however, in their home. The chief of the Thai immigration authority, Surachate Hakpan said on Monday, according to the online portal, “Khaosod English”. You send anyone to death, it said. The 18-year-old Rahaf Mohammed Al-Kunun had been detained on the way to Australia to the international airport of the Thai capital, Bangkok, from Saudi authorities employees. Thailand had announced the young woman to deport.

Al-Kunun is escaped according to their own information against physical and mental abuse by her family and wants to apply for asylum in Australia. In addition, they fear a forced return to Saudi Arabia for her life, she explained about the messaging service Twitter. The young woman had barricaded himself in the room of a transit hotel to avoid deportation. Previously, she was failed with a first attempt to prevent a court decision an enforced return journey.

Human Rights Watch called on the Thai authorities to let the young woman either to Australia to travel or to be recognised in Thailand as a refugee. “Saudi Arabian women who have fled their families, with brute violence by family members, deprivation of liberty and other serious consequences faced if they are brought back against their will,” warned the Deputy middle East Director of human rights organisation, Michael Page.

The information suggests that Al-Kunun arrived in the night to Sunday in Bangkok after they had fled their family during a stay in Kuwait. At the airport she was stopped by representatives of the saudi Arabian Embassy. Accordingly, the Pass had been removed. Thailand’s immigration authority stated that it had no return ticket and no money.
