Telethon: 20 euros, 50 euros… How much does your donation cost you after taxes?

A call for your generosity. This year again, research needs you to continue its fight for children with rare diseases. The 2022 edition of the Telethon begins this Friday, December 2 and will end on Saturday, December 3, after several hours of mobilization everywhere in France and on the channels of France Télévisions.

It is the actor and humorist Kev Adams who has been chosen as sponsor for this 36 year of calls for donations for the AFM-Téléthon association (French Association against Myopathies). In 2021, Laurence Tiennot-Herment, president of the association, explained: “Genetic diseases destroyed the lives of our children and our families. To fight them, we had nothing: neither means, nor treatments (… ) The medical revolution that we initiated is underway and thousands of patients around the world are already benefiting from it. The Telethon has changed the destiny of convicted children. The Telethon has changed the lives of patients. The Telethon has changed history of medicine. The Telethon will change everything again”.

From this Friday evening, you will be able to find your favorite hosts for a long entertainment program, lasting 30 hours. Sophie Davant, Nagui and Cyril Féraud will also welcome families of sick children, who will come to testify about their daily lives and the progress of research.
