Tele-radar | Our suggestions of the week

The fabulous second season of Marie-Lyne Joncas ends this week with Mario Tessier (Monday), Geneviève Schmidt (Tuesday), Marina Orsini (Wednesday) and Dominic Paquet (Thursday). We may not have always been faithful to the station since the return of the show in early April, but each time we found ourselves in front of our television between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. have never been disappointed. We love the drooling attitude of the host and comedian, when she lets loose and allows herself to be with her guests. With this sweet irreverence, she spiced up the world of talk shows in Quebec. For next year, could we have a Fabulous spring-summer from Marie-Lyne?

Once again this summer, Guy Jodoin hits the road again and ventures to the four corners of Quebec with various artists. The season begins this week with Élise Guilbault, Éléonore Lagacé, Yves Lambert, Luc De Larochellière and Michel Faubert at Vignoble Saint-Gabriel in Lanaudière. During the following meetings, Marina Orsini, Martine St-Clair, Rémi-Pierre Paquin, Rosalie Vaillancourt and Debbie Lynch-White will be among the participants. New this year: a segment called “La belle visite”, during which the host meets citizens in each region visited, as well as a more mobile stage, which adapts to all spaces and landscapes. For her part, Léane Labrèche-Dor will continue to offer her popular historical capsules.

Broadcast last winter, this miniseries written by Kim Lévesque-Lizotte (Avant le crash, Les Simone) and directed by Pascal L’Heureux (Bye bye, Discussions avec mes parents) is presented as an encore. Divided into six one-hour episodes, it paints the portrait of four women suffering from various addiction problems who converge – against their will – at Catharsis, a new kind of therapy center. The action opens with Juliette (Olivia Palacci), a compulsive gambler, and then branches off to Vicky (Sarah Desjeunes Rico), a pill-addicted prosecutor, Claudine (Debbie Lynch-White), a sex addict, and Emma (Julie de Lafrenière), which accumulates fake profiles on Facebook. They have 21 days to get their lives back together…

Those who follow Rachid Badouri on Instagram, TikTok and company know his father, the friendly Mohamed. They know their sense of humor, and above all, their great complicity. In The Badouri Heritage, a touching documentary directed by Félix Trépanier (Ethnic Immigrants) shot in Morocco, we discover their Berber origins. In the opening, Rachid Badouri says he wanted to do this “back to basics” to ensure that his daughters – and eventually their offspring – never forget the sacrifices that have been made for them, to enable them to lead life. they have today. Produced by Trinôme et filles (Presumed Innocent, Free Love), the 90-minute film also shows all the tenderness that the comedian feels for his father.
