Ted Lasso discusses mental health at the White House

(Washington) Is it harder to coach a soccer team or conduct the White House press briefing? Ted Lasso, jovial mustachioed coach from the hit series of the same name, came to discuss mental health with Joe Biden on Monday.

Before meeting with the American president, Jason Sudeikis, who interprets this American football coach becoming the improbable leader of a sinking British football team, was invited to participate in the daily press briefing of the door- word of the American president, Karine Jean-Pierre.

Jason Sudeikis then tried to lighten the mood, in particular through an exchange with a “fake” journalist, in reality an actor from the series present in the room.

The Apple TV series, whose third season has aired since March 15, has won several awards.

The White House had announced the arrival of the actors in a somewhat enigmatic way on Monday by releasing a photo of the door of the Oval Office, surmounted by a small sign with the inscription “Believe!” (“Believe It!”), the same one the eternal optimist Ted Lasso hangs in his team’s locker room.
