Taxes: when will you be reimbursed this year?

Those who have not fulfilled their civic duty, and must therefore talk to the tax authorities about this, those who have paid just enough tax and are therefore freed from the question of tax on income for the coming months, those who didn’t pay enough… and finally those who overpaid. First of all, remember that two types of situations justify, according to Bercy, a potential refund. As Capital explains, these are the following scenarios:

More than a few days to wait for the luckiest, continues Capital. The refund of the overpayment by the tax authorities should indeed operate in the coming week, has informed the General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFiP). Most of the taxpayers concerned will therefore be entitled to a bank transfer between July 21 and August 2, 2022.

“This transfer will bear the wording ‘REMB TAX REVENUS’ on your bank statement and will be indicated as coming from ‘DGFIP FINANCES PUBLIQUES'”, Bercy also specified.
