Taxes 2022: what date for refunds in the event of overpayment?

If your income has changed in 2022 compared to 2021, your tax form will not be the same either.

Two scenarios are possible:

Its amount is specified on your validated tax return. This sum, indicates the public service site, should be paid to you between July 21 and August 5, 2022.

It will be paid directly by means of a transfer to the bank account that you have communicated to the tax department. To check that you have communicated your bank details to the DGFiP, you can consult, in your personal space on the tax website, the section “update your bank details”.

In the event that you have not sent your bank details to the tax authorities, the refund will be sent to you by post, in the form of a check.

If you have any questions about this refund, you can also contact 0 809 401 401 (non-surcharged call) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
