The payment of supplementary pensions meets certain payment conditions, set according to Agirc-Arrco. Usually, they are, in fact, received by retirees on a monthly basis. These payments are made at the beginning of each month and in advance, with an expiry date. However, it is possible to use other types of payments. For example, in which cases does the single payment apply?

When you have a bank account domiciled in metropolitan France, in the DOM-TOMs or in a European country, you can benefit from a monthly payment of your supplementary pension. This is the method of payment most often applied. If you do not have a bank account in the aforementioned countries, it is possible to use a quarterly payment. You nevertheless have the right to claim a monthly payment but, once this method has been chosen, you will no longer be able to go back and benefit from a quarterly payment.

Under certain conditions, your supplementary pension can be paid to you all at once: this is the single capital. You can receive your Agirc-Arrco pension in this context if its amount is less than or equal to a sum equivalent to 100 points. The single capital therefore corresponds to an “advance” payment of the life value of the allowances. It is calculated by multiplying the amount of the annual pension by a coefficient determined according to your age and the date of your retirement.
