According to a study by the Syndicat des Entreprises du Tour Operating (Seto), all the signals seem to be green for professionals in the tourism sector. Tour operator booking forecasts announce a net increase in turnover of 44.1%. The French have therefore decided to travel this summer.

Nearly 2 out of 3 French people (65% of those questioned) intend to go on vacation this summer, compared to 71% last year, according to a study carried out at the end of March by Opinionway for Atout France and ADN Tourisme. Despite a slight decline, many travelers are determined to take full advantage of their holidays despite the current complicated economic context.

More original, cinema tourism is also tending to develop this year. The principle ? Make tourists travel in the setting of their favorite series or films! Indeed, more and more travelers are inspired by the places they see in the cinema to choose their destinations, especially on the side of the United States.

However, we must not forget that among the French who do not intend to go on vacation at all this summer, 2 out of 5 cite budgetary constraints as the main reason for not leaving, in the survey conducted by Opinionway for Atout France and ADN Tourism. Indeed, this year again, many people will not be able to afford to go on vacation, due to inflation.
