The all-in-all 20 members of the AfD in the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg are not likely to suffer from a lack of attention. Alone in Parliament, they can be observed from 123 competing members, judged, commented on – not to mention the media support. They are, however, not been well analyzed yet never so thoroughly as by Catharina Vögele and Claudia Thoms, two communication scholars of the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. Both wanted to know whether and how the climate in the Parliament has changed since the AfD has managed to do that in 2016 the leap into the Parliament. A Central result start: It has changed significantly – and not for the Good.
