Love stories that made headlines. In the early 1990s, Princess Stephanie of Monaco fell under the spell of a businessman Daniel Ducruet. More in love than ever, they become parents of two children: Louis Ducruet, born on November 26, 1992 and Pauline Ducruet, born on May 4, 1994. A year after the birth of the latter, the lovers officially become husband and wife before divorcing a year later, in October 1996.

A few months earlier, Daniel Ducruet had been at the heart of a scandal. He had been filmed and photographed with a Belgian stripper in a villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer. The latter had been accused by some of being “the instrument of a set-up motivated by the lure of profit”, reports Purepeople.

A false accusation for the young woman who explained that she had been a victim in this case. “I found myself in court where I tell myself that I did not kill anyone. I did nothing wrong, I had a relationship with a man, married of course, but there was no law against that. (…) I’m just a little girl who is lost in all this shit and this media mess”, she declared in the show Les Orages de la vie in 2012.

After their divorce, Stéphanie de Monaco found love again with her former bodyguard, Jean Raymond Gottlieb, with whom she has a daughter named Camille, on July 15, 1998. A relationship that will end some time later. On September 12, 2003, Caroline of Monaco’s sister married a second wife, a certain Adans Lopez Peres, a Portuguese acrobat. Their love story will end after a year of marriage, on November 24, 2004. Planet invites you to discover in photos, the men who shared his life in our slideshow.
