Stéphane Bern actor: in which fictions did he appear on the screen?

A new role for Stéphane Bern. This August 25, the famous animator is the hero of the TV movie For the honor of a son, to discover on France 3. A fiction in which he puts on the uniform of an Air Force commander who investigates on the mysterious disappearance of his son on a mission in Mali.

“First of all, I have great respect for our soldiers, and particularly for the Air Force”, assures the 50-year-old in the pages of Télé 7 Jours. “But I have to say that wearing the uniform helps a lot to get into the skin of the character, even if I only put it on at the start of the TV movie”.

For actor Stéphane Bern, it was a duty for him to embody this role on screen. “I thought of those parents of soldiers whose children die in special operations abroad. The death of a French soldier touches me,” he assures our colleagues before adding. “When I played Commander Paul Leclerc, I tried to put myself in the shoes of the families”.

A fiction in a dramatic register that could arouse the curiosity of the public. In a photo taken from the TV movie where we see Stéphane Bern pointing his gun at an individual, Internet users had fun hijacking this scene on the web. “As soon as I have a gun in my hands, everyone makes hot throats on social networks! It makes me smile,” he confessed to Télé-Loisirs.

This is not the first time that Stéphane Bern has distinguished himself in serious and funny roles on screen. As in the cinema where he plays his own role in Les Aristos (2006), Connasse, princesse des cœurs (2015) or even on television with Samantha Oups (in 2007, on France 2) and Be rich and shut up (in 2011 in Comedy).

The specialist in royal families also manages to surprise the public in Our dear neighbors (TF1), and in detective fictions such as Murders in Lorraine (in 2018, on France 3) and The Art of Crime (in 2021, on France 2) . “I’m reaching an age where I want to have fun. Honestly, it’s the home stretch, the final stage of my life where I can really take risks”, confided in Téléstar the one who held the role of a judge “in the pilot of a series for France Télévisions” last June Focus in images on the filmography of Stéphane Bern in the slideshow.
