The castle of Dammarie-les-Lys is about to reopen its doors. This Saturday, October 15 marks the return of Star Academy for a tenth season on TF1. Hosted by the historic Nikos Aliagas, the show welcomed many stars who came to sing with the amateur students, every evening in front of millions of viewers.

As tradition dictates, each promotion of academicians is sponsored by one (or two) star s of the song. For this season 10, it is the British singer Robbie Williams, revealed in the group Take That in the 1990s, who agreed to take on this role, according to LeParisien this October 12. “A nice pick since the artist had never been on the Star Academy set, nor during the first salvo broadcast from October 2001 to December 2008 on TF1, nor during the return to winter 2012-2013 on NRJ 12”.

A homecoming for the first winner in the history of Star Academy, also godmother of the fourth season in 2004. If the famous artist does not return to this role alongside Robbie Williams, several artists have been honored each season on TF1 (and NRJ12 in 2013).
