(Lillehammer) Canada’s Alexandria Loutitt added another medal to her seasonal tally, winning silver on large hill at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway.

Loutitt, who triumphed on the large hill at the World Championships earlier this month, moved from fifth to second with her second jump on Wednesday.

She collected a total of 242.9 points for her two jumps and just edged Austria’s Eva Pinkelnig by an eighth of a point.

Germany’s Katharina Althaus won with a score of 251.1 points.

Alberta’s Abigail Strate finished 12th.

Loutitt became the first Canadian to win a World Cup ski jumping stop in January in Japan.

She is also the first Canadian world champion in ski jumping.
