Show in Tennessee | Lizzo invites drag queens to protest the law

At a Friday night concert in Knoxville, Tennessee, Lizzo filled the stage with drag queens in a glittery protest against state legislation aimed at restricting drag queens performances in public.

During her gig at the Thompson-Boling Arena, the Grammy-winning Juice singer brought in a number of drag queens, including Aquaria, Kandy Muse, Asia O’Hara and Vanessa Vanji.

On Saturday, Lizzo posted videos from the show to Instagram, including comments directed at the crowd that referenced the law being passed.

In February, Republican Governor Bill Lee signed the law against “adult cabarets” in public or in front of minors, which was blocked by a federal judge.
