AEW Women Compete in The Owen Hart Cup Tournament

The highly anticipated third annual Owen Hart Foundation Tournament is set to kick off in AEW, with the finals of both the men’s and women’s tournaments scheduled to take place in Owen’s hometown on the July 10 episode of Dynamite, coinciding with the annual Calgary Stampede. This year, there is an added twist as the winners of the tournament will earn world title matches at All In on Aug. 25 at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Following Bryan Danielson’s declaration for the men’s tournament on a recent episode of Dynamite, several women officially entered The Owen Hart Cup on the latest episode of Collision. Stokely Hathaway was the first to announce Kris Statlander’s participation in the tournament, setting the stage for what is sure to be an intense competition.

Willow Nightingale quickly followed suit, driven by a desire for revenge after Statlander’s betrayal at Double or Nothing last month. Nightingale, who emerged victorious in last year’s Owen Hart Cup, is determined to make her mark once again in the tournament.

Adding to the excitement, Mariah May was added to the tournament field at the request of AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, further intensifying the competition among the talented female wrestlers.

With the stage set for an electrifying series of matches, wrestling fans are left wondering which of these fierce competitors will emerge victorious in The Owen Hart Cup and secure a title match at All In 2024. Share your predictions and join the discussion in the comments below, Cagesiders!
