A familiar face of French fiction. Born of artist parents, Sara Mortensen nevertheless studied hypokhâgne and history before obtaining her master’s degree. It was then that the young Franco-Norwegian was destined for Cours Florent where she was trained from 2001 to 2004, then starting her career as an actress in a few short films.

On the television side, Sara Mortensen has a string of secondary roles in fictions such as Engrenages (in 2008) and Femmes de droit (2009). Three years later, the actress gained popularity with the role of Coralie Blain in Plus belle la vie on France 3. A character she played for 261 episodes, while she accumulated alongside other serial appearances ( Josephine, guardian angel, Clem…).

Building on this popularity, Sara Mortensen obtained, in 2019, the leading role in the series Astrid and Raphaëlle on France 2. Good news for the actress, when she learned at the same time of her ousting in the Marseille soap opera of the 3 “It’s life, but it’s not my will. Let’s say that I was thanked. It always hurts when it happens. I have always proclaimed loud and clear that leaving Plus belle la vie does not would not be my doing, but it was done very hastily”, she confided to Télé Loisirs.

A forced departure “for personal and professional reasons”, motivated by the production which made the fans react at the time. Despite her ouster, viewers have the joy of finding her under the skin of Astrid Nielsen, a librarian with autism, in the police series of France 2 with Lola Dewaere. “It’s a very beautiful friendship. Today, the only person I can make jokes with and get out a little Astrid is with Lola, but when we met, on the pilot, I I was so focused that I did not speak to him”, confessed the beautiful forties to our colleagues.

Like her friend and acting partner, Sara Mortensen is also in the spotlight at every premiere or festival. The opportunity for the actress to shine in front of the photographers in solo or on the arm of her companion Bruce Tessore on the red carpet. The proof in pictures through our slideshow.
