Another celebrity looks set to enter the bidding war for the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. And not the least.

Rap legend Snoop Dogg said on his Instagram account that he was joining a bid led by Los Angeles-based producer Neko Sparks.

Ian Mendes of The Athletic was the first to report the news.

Snoop Dogg is a hockey fan who sometimes wears NHL jerseys when he performs on stage.

Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, co-owner of Welsh football club Wrexham AFC, has been linked to a potential offer to buy the team from property developer Remington Group. He has also had a few crowd baths in Ottawa in recent weeks.
