Supermarket alert. Two batches of cooked roast beef sold by the cut, marketed in various stores across France, are currently subject to a recall. The cause ? Suspicion of the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, the causative agent of listeriosis. The products in question were sold between July 9 and July 20, 2022 on the stand departments with service of Carrefour stores throughout the territory, as well as in 37 Cora hypermarkets and at a Migros point of sale. Here are the references of the products concerned to know:

The products mentioned above are likely to transmit Listeria monocytogenes, the bacterium responsible for listeriosis. People who have purchased this meat are therefore invited to no longer consume it and to destroy it or bring it back to the store before Wednesday August 3, 2022 (Cora and Migros) or before Thursday August 4, 2022 (Carrefour) in order to obtain a repayment.

People who, for their part, have already consumed the recalled products, should monitor the appearance of symptoms such as fever, headache or body aches. Do not hesitate to consult a doctor by informing him of this signaling in case of doubt. “Pregnant women as well as immunocompromised people and the elderly must be particularly attentive to these symptoms. Listeriosis is a disease which can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks”, underlines Rappel Conso.
