After weeks of social mobilization and the mad hope of seeing the pension reform repealed, the French had to face the facts and accept its promulgation. While its implementation is scheduled for September 1, many are worried today about its consequences on their careers and future retirements. If the raising of the legal retirement age has indeed been recorded and promises to be gradual until 2030, future retirees meeting specific criteria wish to be accompanied in their efforts. A request that has been heard by the various administrations. Explanations.

It is a fact: the French will have to work more. Despite months of protest, the executive held firm until the end and the pension reform finally went through its democratic process. It will therefore enter into force, barring a major setback, from September 1st. Since the failure of the parliamentary niche of the Liot group, on June 8, it is the commotion for many French people, who must now calculate and inform themselves with precision about their end of career.

While the starting age threshold is now set at 64, the full pension age has been kept at 67. The increase in the duration of insurance is, for its part, brought up to 43 annuities. In this context, several generations will, for their part, undergo the gradual raising of the retirement age. Depending on each year of birth, the number of quarters required will therefore be modified and determine the age at which each person can claim, depending on their situation, at the end of their career.

Long careers, invalidity, increase for mothers… Many questions agitate the minds of the French, who are wondering not only about their departure conditions, but also about the amount of their future retirement pension. It must be said that the government has long brandished the promise of a minimum pension, set at 1200 euros gross, for the most modest retirees.

In the end, far from everyone’s expectations, around 20,000 people per month will be able to benefit from this minimum pension. Remember that it requires having worked all his career at the minimum wage (Smic). For people already retired, it is an increase of 100 euros gross, which will apply and will affect around 1.8 million retirees.

To navigate these very different situations from each other, around 50,000 slots were opened on Saturday, June 17, for an appointment with one of the two pension plans. They will be an opportunity to support retirees and answer any questions they may have about their future retirement;

To take advantage of these appointments, simply register on the rdv-retraite.fr website with your France Connect credentials. If the first slots have been saturated with requests, you can place yourself on hold, since these must continue until June 23.
