The animated series Red Ketchup, inspired by the cult comic book character published by Éditions de la Pastèque, will be broadcast on Télétoon at night from Thursday, April 20.

Produced by Jacques Bilodeau (Sphère Animation) and directed by Martin Villeneuve, the series is modeled on the albums of Pierre Fournier and Réal Godbout. Charged with the most perilous missions, the FBI agent Red Ketchup, a colossus with red eyes and orange hair, takes all the risks necessary to achieve his ends, even if it usually involves collateral damage. Considering him a burden, the FBI always sends him on a distant mission hoping he never comes back — but Red Ketchup always comes back.

The cast includes the voices of Benoît Brière (Red Ketchup), France Castel (Sally Ketchup), Gabriel Lessard (Peter Plywood), Alain Zouvi (Dr K), Widemir Normil (Chef Sullivan), Émilie Bibeau (Olga Dynamo) and Martin Villeneuve (Bill Belisle).

The first 10 episodes of the season — which has 20 — will air on Télétoon at night every Thursday night at 10 p.m. until June, while the next 10 will air in the fall. The English version will premiere on Adult Swim on April 23.
