(Los Angeles) Anthony Davis scored 41 points, including 20 in the fourth quarter, and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Toronto Raptors 132-131 on Tuesday to win two games in a row for the first time in a month.

LeBron James had 22 points and 12 assists for the Lakers. Davis also had 11 rebounds in the win.

For the Raptors, Scottie Barnes scored 26 points and Pascal Siakam scored 25. RJ Barrett added 23 points for the Raptors, while Immanuel Quickley scored 21 points, including four three-pointers.

Using a three-point basket, Gary Trent Jr. made it 121-120 for the Raptors with 1:08 left in regulation.

Davis and Austin Reaves, however, made 10 consecutive free throws in the final 34 seconds of the game to help the Lakers win, despite three-point baskets from Dennis Schröder and Trent in the final four seconds.

The Raptors announced earlier Tuesday that center Jakob Poeltl will be out indefinitely with a sprained left ankle.

The Raptors said Poeltl was injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s 133-118 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
