Puma RS X Toys: Back to Childhood

The Puma RS X Toys is wind – and weather-suited and, therefore, one of my favorites for the winter season. Not to be overlooked: Also Puma does not pass the Dad-Sneaker-Trend (I told you about in the first part of my column for more) and uses garish colors, a voluminous Silhouette and chunky sole.

In the eighties, Running System (for short: RS) is a high-quality damping system, which was in the time as a progressive. 1986 Puma gave the starting shot for the first analytical Shoe, the RS-computer Shoe. The running Shoe that enabled athletes thanks to a built-in chip in the heel, the store run data on a Computer and thus optimize the performance. More than 30 years ago, Puma has made so, what do today’s high-tech fitness bracelets for us.

The Puma RS-X Toys, therefore, combines two of the Highlights of the eighties: bright toy and video-game look and the Puma Running System. The result is a beautiful Retro-Running sneakers that will enable many of you are probably at the mere sight back in the Childhood. A shaped footbed, comfy padding and a cushioning RS-polyurethane Midsole for maximum comfort. He is, by the way “true to size” (tts), i.e. normal, which I think is basically good. There must not be countless sneaker forums to sift through, trying to figure out which size is the right one. Actually, I have to make almost every new model, as there is often thick insoles to ensure that the Shoe is extremely small. If you’re unsure, rather once in the Store to try on or, as I do, two to three sizes to order. The Puma RS-X Toys, for me, is a great companion in autumn and Winter – in the warmer months, I wear he prefers lighter shoes.

by the Way, in 2018 was a special year for Puma. The old-school classic Suede celebrated his fiftieth birthday, one of the few models that was to last over a period of decades on the market. The American magazine “Complex” has named the Suede 2017, even as the most influential Shoe in the Hip-Hop scene. A Shoe, in which so much history is that I will dedicate an own post.
