Piknic Électronik will celebrate its 20th anniversary this summer, and will be back again this year to brighten up our sunny Sundays.
The program for the event, which will be back at Parc Jean-Drapeau until October 1, was unveiled on Tuesday.
The organization has many surprises in store for this anniversary edition, which will be launched on May 21 with New Yorker Louie Vega, and then we can dance to the rhythms of international stars of electronic music such as Kerri Chandler, Deborah de Luca and others Nicola Cruz. There’s also a host of local talent on the program — in all, 52 Quebec artists will be performing over the summer.
In addition, six OfF Piknic events “in concert mode” will take place on a few Fridays and Saturdays during the summer season.
