Chef Philippe Etchebest trained as a cook for four years at the Clos Longchamps restaurant at the Méridien hotel in Paris. In 2000, it is the consecration, he is designated best worker of France. From 2001 to 2003, he directed the kitchen of the prestigious Château des Reynats near Périgueux. It was on this occasion that the Michelin Guide awarded it its first star.
