Some encounters mark a life. For actor Philippe Bas, his career began in the mid-1990s at the Cours Florent before making his theater debut in The Trojan War will not take place, under the direction of Francis Huster. Adapted from the bestseller by the same author (published in 2012), Philippe Bas toured with Fanny Ardant and John Malkovich, two legends of cinema. A shoot that the actor experienced “with great simplicity”, before discussing their meeting. “With Fanny, I had several scenes and many others with John. We all got along very well. He is someone very simple and accessible”, told the actor for Planet, also playing with Emilie Dequenne. “When we shoot with actors and actresses like them, it’s always a source of inspiration for me”.

Expected in the cinema for 2023, this comedy tells the story of Andrew Blake, a widower who returns to France in the house where he met his late wife. But, nothing will go as planned.
