A familiar face to fiction fans. Pauline Bression is the heroine of Lame de fond, broadcast this Saturday April 22, 2023 on France 2. At the heart of this fiction, the actress takes on the role of Elise, a police captain leading the investigation into the murder of Owen Flemming, an English director, killed during the Dinard British Film Festival.

Especially since this crime, linked to an old case, is far from leaving the investigator unmoved. “His sister Gaëlle (Éléonore Bernheim, editor’s note) was on board the boat with three other teenagers, including Owen Flemming and his sister Lola, who perished in the sinking. Elise, too young at the time, had been removed from the small band“, she explains to Télé 7 Jours. “With this investigation, she is getting her revenge on the past.” However, nothing predestined the young thirty-year-old to play comedy.

Born November 2, 1989 in Paris, Pauline Bression was raised by her family in the capital. After high school, she turned to the faculty where she studied law. The young brunette frequents the benches of the Sorbonne where she will obtain a master 2 with honors, as indicated by Télé-Loisirs. But, she will find her way in another discipline: the theater.

In the 2010s, Pauline Bression joined Cours Florent for two years. In 2013, the young apprentice entered the Physical Theater Training Laboratory, where she performed several plays. The following year, the career of the actress will take a turn towards the small screen where she arrives in the famous soap opera Plus belle la vie.

In 2014, Pauline Bression arrived in the Mistral district where she played the role of Emma Rimez on France 3. A role that will reveal her to viewers. From a young high school student, delinquent and rebellious, her character evolves over the intrigues, until she becomes a young mother overwhelmed by her work.

With Gala.fr, the actress retains a tenderness for the France 3 series which has brought her many things in her life. “It was my best school, because we see a lot of directors, technical teams, actors. And humanly, I made great encounters”, explains the one who formed a couple with Bryan Trésor (Baptiste) in the soap opera .

Before the series bowed out in November 2022, the actress did not hide her disappointment. “It’s humanly very heavy. Each Friday, when there were farewell parties, we all cried, because obviously, there are still big slices of life, wonderful encounters”, she confided to our colleagues. Since then, the young actress has bounced back and has a string of projects.

Since Plus belle la vie, actress Pauline Bression has appeared in other fictions: Commissioner Magellan, Joséphine guardian angel, Caïn, Hortense and L’oubliee d’Amboise. On the cinema side, we also find her in MILF, directed by Axelle Laffont in 2018.

This year, however, has been rich in projects for Pauline Bression, soon to be back on the screen after the broadcast of Lame de fond. “I shot again, this winter, Murders on the Lérins Islands, for France 3”, confirms the actress seen at the cinema in A love story by Alexis Michalik in 2022, and soon filming for an episode of Cesar Wagner on France 2.
