Patrick Murray, the star of Fools and Horses, ‘wouldn’t be here’ if it wasn’t for his cancer diagnosis

Star Patrick Murray said he ‘wouldn’t be here now’ if he hadn’t gone to the GP for a swelling in his stomach.

After being diagnosed with a Only Fools and Horseslung cancer in its early stages, scans revealed that Murray , 65, was playing Mickey Pearce on the BBC sitcom.

The actor spoke on ITV News, saying that he had a swelling in his stomach for three weeks. I thought it was something men could do, but I called my GP.

After a brief examination, the doctor said he couldn’t find any of “the usual suspects” and suggested that the star have an ultrasound.

Murray returned to his local hospital two weeks later for a quick, non-invasive examination.

“The next day, I received a call from my doctor stating that they had found a tumor on my liver. I would need to have more tests,” he stated.

Doctors discovered a tumor in the lung after a CT and MRI scan. However, it was early.

He shared, “This is very important. If they hadn’t caught it, then I probably wouldn’t be here chatting about now.”

Murray announced earlier this week that he had had his lung cancer removed. He also endorsed a government advertisement urging people to seek medical attention for any discomfort.

After his “little journey”, he admitted that he could have gotten by it, but the actor decided to share it with others as “we need to spread this message”.

If you feel that your symptoms are not improving after a few weeks, you should see a doctor.

He said that although symptoms of cancer are not usually visible until the advanced stage, they can often be seen in the early stages.

He advises people to not worry about the pandemic as “the government have made this thing public because it is important.”

The icon said that Ultrasound technology has made a remarkable leap in the past 10 years. What was once a blurry picture is now a crisp picture. They can also see every part of your stomach by magic.

His announcement of cancer comes four months after John Challis’s death from cancer at the age of 79.

Murray was the dim-witted wide-eyed Mickey in David Jason’s Del Boy, and Nicholas Lyndhurst played Rodney Trotter as Rodney Trotter from Only Fools & Horses 1983 to 2003.
