The day of glory has come ! This Friday September 8 begins the 10th edition of the Rugby World Cup which is taking place in France. A sporting event in which nine cities (Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse, Saint-Etienne and Saint-Denis) were chosen to host the 48 matches between the 20 competing teams.

Among them, the XV of France is one of the big favorites for the world tournament. Fabien Galthié’s 33 men will be able to count on the fervor of French supporters during their matches. Will they make it to the final and lift the Cup at home? The road still looks long for our Blues who will have to win at the top of their group A ahead of the teams from Italy, Namibia, Uruguay and New Zealand.

Before experiencing the clash between our valiant Blues and the formidable All-Blacks at 9 p.m. on TF1, oval fans from around the world will attend the traditional opening ceremony. It is live from the Stade de France that the public will discover an exceptional show highlighting culture, the art of living and French history, without forgetting their passion for the oval ball. For the occasion, many artists, volunteers and extras were selected to perform in this gigantic show.

Among them, several celebrities have agreed to play the game to promote French culture beyond France. Like the actor Jean Dujardin, co-writer and one of the key roles in the living fresco, who revealed some images on social networks. “Thank you to the designers of the Dreamed By Us show, Olivier Ferracci and Nora Matthey…”, he wrote with “joy” in his publication this Friday morning on Instagram.

Dressed in his white tank top, pleated pants and wearing his cap, the hero of The Artist will be one of the stars of the show to absolutely see. Also present on the ground will be chefs Guy Savoy and Yves Camdeborde, actor Philippe Lacheau, dancer Alice Renavand and Adriana Karembeu, Vianney and Zaz. Everyone is involved in this opening ceremony which promises to be grandiose and spectacular.
