The Prince of Darkness returns to Montreal: Nick Cave will be performing a solo concert at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in October. He will have only one accompanist: Colin Greenwood of Radiohead on bass.
Nick Cave’s North American solo tour kicks off September 19 in North Carolina and he’ll be taking his songs of dead, ghosts and broken souls to California at the end of October.
The poet published in 2020 a disc recorded solo at Alexandra Palace in London, which gives an idea of the power that his songs keep even in the counting. We are expecting a concert in the same spirit at Place des Arts.
Tickets for this evening of Nick Cave’s 40 years of songs will be on presale starting Monday at 10 a.m. (registration required at www.nickcavesolotour.com). General on-sale will be March 31 at 10 a.m.
