(Denver) Devon Toews scored with 7:01 remaining and the Colorado Avalanche came from behind to defeat the Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Thursday to tie the series 1-1.

Trailing 2-0 in the second half, Artturi Lehkonen and Valeri Nichushkin scored 48 seconds apart to level the score.

Justin Schultz and Brandon Tanev netted for the Kraken, who again got off to a great start after winning the opener 3-1.

Alexandar Georgiev finished the game with 27 saves for the Avalanche, while his Kraken opponent Philipp Grubauer stopped 38 shots.

Tanev scored shorthanded when he made it 2-0.

The third game will be Saturday, in Seattle.
