NHL playoffs | Kings beat Oilers in overtime

Trevor Moore scored in overtime and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 on Friday to take a 2-1 series lead.

Alex Iafallo scored the first goal of the game for the Kings. Adrian Kempe also scored. Joonas Korpisalo was impressive in net, stopping 38 shots.

Connor McDavid scored both goals for the Oilers. Defender Evan Bouchard had an assist on each of McDavid’s goals. Stuart Skinner blocked 28 pucks despite the loss.

Moore scored 3:24 into overtime. It took a long time to confirm the goal, as a Kings player seemed to have touched the puck higher than the allowed height a few seconds before.

The next game played Sunday night, in Los Angeles.
