(Sunrise) Taylor Hall had a goal and an assist as the Boston Bruins won 4-2 on Friday to take the lead 2-1 in their series against the Florida Panthers.

Charlie Coyle, David Pastrnak and Nick Foligno also scored for the Bruins, while Linus Ullmark blocked 28 shots.

Ullmark led the NHL with 40 wins and a 1.89 average in the regular season.

Dmitry Orlov signed two long passes that led to the net.

Gustav Forsling and Sam Reinhart fought back for Florida.

Alex Lyon made 23 saves on 26 shots, before giving way to Sergei Bobrovsky.

Game 4 is Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Sunrise.

The Panthers only had four shots in the second period.

Since the start of the regular season, the Bruins are 15-2-1 after a loss.

Earlier Friday, we learned that forward Patrice Bergeron did not accompany his Bruins teammates to Florida.

The veteran captain missed the first game due to illness and the second due to an unspecified upper body injury.

Coach Jim Montgomery said Bergeron is likely to be available in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Bergeron finished third among Bruins regular season scorers with 27 goals and 58 points.

The 37-year-old Bergeron was injured in the first period on April 13 in Montreal.

He had also missed four of eight games towards the end of the season, when the Bruins had no stakes left. He returned to take part in the last two meetings.
