Soon 100 euros bonus? The government announced in June 2022 that aid would be paid to recipients of social minima. While Parliament adopted a bill on purchasing power on August 3, 2022, the amending finance bill (PLFR), still under debate in the Senate, introduces an exceptional activity bonus of 100 or 150 euros.

Indeed, no additional details have yet been provided. The exact amount must be confirmed by decree. For the time being, the government has committed itself to 100 euros. On the other hand, 50 euros could be added per child, indicates the site Handicap.fr.

This measure is justified by the inflation of fuel, energy and food prices. In this sense, the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire informed that it will probably be paid “during September” to help the French as quickly as possible.

Long debated, this exceptional aid was the subject of an amendment this week by some senators. They want an increase to 150 euros, and to refocus aid on the working poor rather than on recipients of social benefits.

Gabriel Attal, Minister of Public Accounts, spoke on this subject: “I hear the wish to help people who work hard. But your disposition will withdraw the benefit of aid to 4 million poor households,” reports the website Les Démarches Administratives.

It took the creation of a joint committee for Parliament to finally agree on the beneficiaries. Who are they ? The slideshow below presents them on the basis of information received by Démarches Administratives.
