New blow for the portfolio of motorists. On February 1, 2023, the price of tolls increased by 4.75% on average. An increase which occurs at the dawn of the French winter holidays, scheduled between February 4 and March 6, 2023 depending on the school zones.
As Capital reminds us, the prices of motorway tolls are revalued every year, taking into account at least 70% of the increase in consumer prices excluding tobacco. “This is an average: depending on the work planned on the different networks, prices will not increase in the same way”, specify our colleagues.
To compensate, the State has asked motorway companies to offer commercial gestures to motorists. Thus, several of them have set up systems offering up to 40% reduction on the price of the toll. What are the aids in question?
