(New York) Major League Soccer executives have announced that British outfit Arsenal FC will take on MLS stars on July 19 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.

The day before, the MLS elite will face off against Arsenal FC in the skills competition.

In a press release, Gary Stevenson, assistant commissioner and chairman of MLS, noted that Arsenal FC is one of the most famous and popular clubs in the world.

Arsenal FC have 13 Premier League titles and are top of the Premier League this season with a 22-3-3 record for a total of 69 points.

Wayne Rooney, who manages D.C. United in MLS, will be the head coach of the MLS All-Star Team.

This will be his third participation in the classic. He participated in 2019 as an MLS player, against Atlético Madrid, as well as in 2011, against MLS stars when he played for Manchester United.
