Miss France 2023: who is Victoire Rousselot, married, mother and candidate for Miss Alsace?

“I want to represent the modern woman of today. A free woman who believes in her dreams and can achieve great things”. This is the daring bet that Victoire Rousselot has launched in order to participate in the Miss France 2023 contest. And, the 27-year-old Alsatian intends to make an impression by becoming the first married candidate and mother of a family at the election.

Since the beginnings of the beauty contest, more than 100 years ago, the Miss France brand has chosen to make its revolution. At the regional level, the Miss Alsace committee has chosen to remove several selection criteria for its candidates. As indicated by our colleagues from Latest news from Alsace, the absence of age limit, celibacy and the absence of children allow the regional competition to open up to a wider female audience.

This is why Victoire Rousselot seized this opportunity in the hope of representing her region next December in Châteauroux. Living in the town of Barr in the Bas-Rhin, the dental assistant is married and has a 3-year-old daughter. “I had my daughter at the age of 24. I’m 27 today, I still think I’m young. I can and I would still like to accomplish a lot of things,” she explained to our colleagues.

Describing herself as a person “of a funny, authentic, dedicated nature”, she is “grateful and enthusiastic to begin this incredible adventure”, according to her portrait on the site of the Alsatian committee. An incredible opportunity that Victoire Rousselot (candidate n ° 6) intends to concretize by following in the footsteps of Delphine Wespiser (elected Miss France 2012), Laetitia Bléger (elected Miss France 2004) or Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut (crowned Miss France 1987). But, the road is still long for the candidate…

While waiting to be able to realize her dream, Victoire Rousselot is already campaigning for her election on social networks and shares her daily life with thousands of subscribers on Instagram. Before knowing if she will be elected Miss Alsace 2022 on September 10 in Colmar, here is an anthology of the most beautiful photos of the candidate through our slideshow.
