Miss France 2023: who is Agathe Cauet, the Northerner who is making the buzz on the web?

“Incredible this evening, just thank you for everything. Thank you for believing in me and for continuing to believe in it”, moved Agathe Cauet on Instagram. On Saturday October 15, the candidate was crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2022 in Liévin. Succeeding Donatella Meden, the young woman is in the running for the Miss France 2023 competition to be held on December 17 in Châteauroux.

A great opportunity for the Miss, a native of Cambrai, currently living in Lille where she officiates as a nurse. “I left for Lille to study nursing and I graduated from the Lille CHR. I started practicing in 2020, in the middle of Covid”, she explains to the Actu.fr site. A vocation for Agathe Cauet after her fight against cancer. “At the age of 17, I was diagnosed with a so-called borderline tumour, that is to say half-benign, half-malignant. Fortunately, it ended well because everything was removed from me without chemo, surgery was enough”.

Alongside her career as a nurse, Agathe Cauet is also a model for the Perfect Model Management agency. With a dream silhouette and a sublime charisma, the twenty-something caught the eye of the northern committee. “I was contacted on social networks to participate in a casting, it was in January 2022. I was elected Miss Amandinois last March”, she confided to our colleagues.

On social networks, Agathe Cauet is already followed (to date) by 22,000 subscribers on Instagram. A notoriety that could bring it among the favorites, especially since some fans have noticed a certain resemblance to Camille Cerf and Iris Mittenaere. For the Lille woman, “these are two Misses with an exceptional career, two superb women with convictions and beautiful values, so I am very happy about that”.

However, the look-alike specifies our colleagues. “But I would like to be identified as Agathe because I am a whole person, I have different qualities”. Will she be the next Northerner to win the title in Hauts-de-France after Maëva Coucke? Before discovering the verdict on December 17 on TF1, here is an anthology of the most beautiful photos of the candidate.
