Currently on a preparatory trip to Guadeloupe, the 30 candidates for the Miss France 2023 competition passed the traditional general culture test this Wednesday, November 23. They had to answer 40 questions in 1h30 on topics as diverse as varied. This test is in MCQ format: each question – except the last two – is accompanied by four possible answers. Only one of them is good.

The general culture test is not an eliminatory test but a bad mark can compromise a candidate’s chances of claiming a place among the 15 finalists during the election evening on December 17 at MACH 36 in Châteauroux. Cindy Fabre, the new director of the beauty contest, explains to TV Mag that the future Miss France “will be brought to rub shoulders with various personalities from the media to elected officials in the provinces. You have to have conversation and repartee”.

According to the Figaro journalist Sarah Lecoeuvre, it is Perrine Prunier, Miss Nomandie 2022, who obtained the best mark of the 2023 class. Originally from the Manche department, the 23-year-old young woman has just completed her Master 2 Justice , trials and proceedings at the University of Caen. In an interview with the Actu.fr site, she revealed that she would see herself becoming a police commissioner one day. On the podium, Solène Scholer, Miss Champagne-Ardenne 2022, and Esther Coutin, Miss Rhône-Alpes 2022, occupy the second and third positions respectively.
