LOS ANGELES: Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Jake Bongiovi on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old British star posted a photo of herself wearing an engagement ring on Instagram. Behind her, holding her in his arms, is actor Jake Bongiovi, 20 and son of singer Jon Bon Jovi.
“I loved you three summers now darling I want them all,” she captioned the photo, using the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s song Lover.
Jake Bongiovi also posted the announcement on his Instagram page.
The two celebrities have been in a relationship for almost two and a half years, and rumors of an upcoming announcement have been buzzing on social media for a few weeks.
The actress rose to fame thanks to the Netflix series Stranger Things, where she plays the character “Eleven”. The fifth season of the phenomenon series is expected soon on the platform.
Jake Bongiovi stars in the comedy Rockbottom, the release of which has not yet been announced.
