It was in 1988 that comedian Michèle Laroque took her first steps on television in the sketch show La Classe on FR3. On this occasion, she met her future stage acolytes, including Pierre Palmade and Muriel Robin.

In 1996, she took her first steps as a duo with Pierre Palmade in a satirical play called They Love Each Other and directed by Muriel Robin. Thanks to this first success, Michèle Laroque quickly became one of the favorite comedians of the French. In the 2000s, she returned to the stage with her friend Pierre Palmade in the sequel They loved each other, the sequel to their first play.

With her new notoriety, she was offered many roles in the cinema. She was featured in popular comedies such as I’m Hungry!!! or even Finally Widow in 2008. More recently, she starred in and directed in 2018 the film Brillantissime alongside her daughter Oriane Deschamps.
