Éditions La Pastèque published an exclusive board of Paul’s next adventures on their Facebook page a few days ago, with author and illustrator Michel Rabagliati stating that his tenth book was now complete.
Earlier last year, the popular author said in an interview with the radio show Plus on est de fous, plus on lit!, on ICI Première, that he was working on a new story by Paul, but that it was to take the form of a graphic novel, a first for Michel Rabagliati.
“I want to do this exercise, to have the typist in front of me and to be able to talk more. […] There, I can do what I want, like a novelist, and complete with more elaborate decorative images than usual, ”he confided to host Marie-Louise Arseneault.
Michel Rabagliati has been promoting Quebec comics abroad for more than 20 years. His last comic strip, Paul at home, was rewarded at the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
Rabagliati’s career has also been demystified in Paul, interview and comments, a book co-authored by Michel Giguère launched a year ago and which explores the universe of the cartoonist, while paying homage to him.
