Journalist and host Marion Jollès has been in a relationship since 2008 with Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean. The couple, who passed the ring finger on June 27, 2012 in Chamonix, are parents of three children. A beautiful love story that began with a little help from fate, as the host had confided to Femme Actuelle in 2021.
“I found Romain in 2008. My producer said to me: ‘You have to go and cover a report in the south of France. There is a pilot who is sponsoring an operation’. I did not at all want to go, because the report did not interest me”, she had declared and to add: “My office colleague says to me: ‘But what are you complaining about? You will find Romain Grosjean, who is a future rising star of Formula 1, you will end up married to him, with three children, and that’s it.
For his part, the motor sportsman tried to flirt with the journalist but without success. “One of my best friends, who is also a pilot, had Marion’s number. I was very jealous so for sure I already had something for her. I tried to invite her to eat in the evening, which she did not accept“, he had told. Finally, Marion Jollès and Romain Grosjean began their love story a few months later.
