Marilou Berry unrecognizable: her 10 most unusual looks on the screen

A chameleon actress. Marilou Berry is the heroine of the Marianne series which begins this Wednesday September 7 on France 2. In this new judicial fiction, the daughter of Josiane Balasko and Philippe Berry embodies Mariane Vauban, an investigating judge with an atypical style who does not walk around never without his ferret!

A character inspired by a real Belgian magistrate, Anne Gruwez, revealed to the public in the documentary Neither judge, nor submitted, awarded at the 2019 Césars. From this colorful personality, the actress Marilou Berry was immediately seduced by this profile. “I found the idea brilliant! When I was sent the scripts for the first episodes, I jumped on it. I loved this character,” she confided in the pages of Télé 7 Jours.

Through this single heroine, Marilou Berry details her characteristic traits. “Marianne Vauban has a rich life and does not see her celibacy or the fact of not being a mother as something sad or negative”, before adding. “She is a woman who loves life in everything that represents it: sex, food, laughter, culture…”, she assures our colleagues.

With this singular role in this mini-series, Marilou Berry also experienced a physical transformation. Like actresses like Audrey Fleurot (the heroine of HPI) and Corinne Masiero (Captain Marleau), the young thirty-year-old notably wears false teeth, a wig and colorful clothes. A clothing makeover that only took the talented actress a short time on set. “In one hour, I was made up, dressed and styled. It’s even rather quick as preparation”, she assures the magazine.

From cinema to television, Marilou Berry does not hesitate to make up to surprise the spectators. From a naughty girl to a sublime princess, in the skin of a summer camp instructor or a pregnant woman… Focus in pictures on 10 key roles of her career.
