As forward Michael Bunting completes his suspension, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe has indicated he will take the next two days to consider his roster for Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
But one thing is certain, Matthew Knies will not be excluded for this meeting scheduled for Thursday. Keefe said the rookie winger earned his job the way he played.
The 20-year-old Knies had one assist, four shots, nine hits and was plus-2 in three games, all won by the Leafs.
Knies joined the Maple Leafs at the end of the season from the University of Minnesota.
Bunting was suspended for the last three games for his illegal blow to the head of Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak in the first game of this series.
The Leafs hold a 3-1 lead after coming from behind in the last two meetings.
